Looking for a Gift? Joan Michlin Earrings!

Joan Michlin Earrings are an easy way to look like a superhero when the box opens. I always say there are 4 earrings at the display that will look great on everyone.

Prism

Cubist

Symphony

Cadence

They are good midrange priced earings. A group of 4 women was going in on a gift for a 5th woman, all of whom collected Joan Michlin. One woman was selected to make the choice for the group, and I knew one of these 4 pairs would be a delight. Because there are 4 to choose from, you can add your personality to the choice. They come in large and small sizes with even a medium size to choose from in most styles. Scale is easy to guess from the size of the earrings the woman typically wears.

Prism have folded thin bars of gold in a dynamic stepped trapezoid shape.

Cubist have a twist in them simple squares folded oer

Symphony Silver and gold folding like a musical cleft

Cadence in Sterling silver and 14 kt gold

Considering a splurge, going a bit higher?

Explosions with 3 f color VSI clarity diamonds and signature starburst array of gold. These are amazing in White gold.

Pearls for Tears

Skip (Joan's husband, lead salesman, and the other half of the jewellery making team, for almost 30 years) laughs when I say, " The keys to the doghouse are made of gold."

If they are they should be on a pearl key chain. As a certified pearl junky, I can tell you that nothing takes away the slings and arrows of life like pearls can. A gift of pearls can erase tears that have been shed "Pearls for Tears" is the saying and are great at calming the emotions in everyday wear.

There are several pearl presentations in the collection:

Etherial series focuses on nearly spherical pearls anchored in gold. This the Joan Michlin take on the classic pearls, uses spherical pearls with gold pins holding the pearls to bars of gold. This makes the strength of the necklace come from the gold. The necklace has smiling bars to curve around the neck, the bracelet has flat bars and the

Moonstruck earrings and bracelet have naturally occurring square and circle coin pearls (I get to wear mine at the shows)

Atomic is a Michlin classic featuring a spray of pearls looking their most beautiful in ovoid and spherical. It comes in a dangle and as a smaller size.

Pearls are back in full force! While they never went out of style, what you have now is the opportunity to wear Joan Michlin pearls and look up to the minute in timeless treasures that will last for decades.

Bejeweled

Joan loves her smart phone. She loves playing Jewels on her new phone, a game that matches up gems on colors and shapes. Not entirely surprising considering her life’s passion…

When I see the collection one jewel that stands out are the many presentations of the topaz. Topaz comes in a variety of colors. In addition to the Teal topaz starring in many pieces this season and the London Blue she has used in the re (tiny blue earrings and ring with London!), she uses three beautiful new varieties this season, Mystic Topaz which opaleses blue, peacock topaz which has purple and green highlights and Opalescent Topaz.

They show up in different pieces with a very similar cut. The ring Mystique has a mystic blue, the peacock is the star of Silhouette and Fragment and the Opalescent is in Array.

Perhaps the best use of them is Mystic blue topaz look truly stunning in the Isis earrings. Isis was the Egyptian goddess of motherhood, magic and new beginnings. The shifting rays of gold behind the mystic topaz can bring anyone back to life. These earrings are one of the hidden secrets of the collection, they are special earrings that frame the face and get a goddess’ share of the attention. When you stop by the booth, try these on just to note the effect, its strong and striking.

You will not see the triad of topaz in a bracelet in the collection right now, but the snap enhancer Starlight features an opalescent topaz surrounded by blue sapphires. The sterling silver star has gold accent for maximum effect. Take note that this snap enhancer has a very large snap bale in resilient 14K sterling, for the largest omegas and wide chains.
